Steve studied photography in Griffith College Dublin, following his degree in Business and Finance at Dublin City University. He later joined the photography department at Griffith College as technichian and tutor for two years part time. During this time he built a Commercial and PR client base along with working freelance for national papers, such as the Sunday Tribune, The Examiner & The Independent.

He is now the main photographer for Totally Dublin magazine. Current clients include Getty Images, Concern, Langrell Kitchens, The Hamptons Collection, Dublin City Business Association.

Projects this year, 2008, have involved two seperate projects in Thailand. The first being an account of the Sex Resort, Pattaya and the second documenting my time spent with the Mon refugees of Burma in an northern Thai settlement. These projects were funded directly by the Simon Cumbers fund which is distributed by Irish AId & Connect World.

March of this year was spent on a project in Nepal in association with Nepal Leprosy Trust and funded by Irish Aid. This project involved visiting NLT supported projects in Nepal and spending a week in the worlds busiest leprosy hospital.

This Summer Steve will be teaching classes in Studio Photography and Digital Photography at the National Gallery of Photography, Dublin.
